When quizzed about the Bond Girls in
the series, Forster joked that casting the new leading
ladies was one of the perks of his new job. But which of
the past girls have been his favourites?
Ursula Andress (Honey
Rider in 1962's
Dr No) is still at the top of the heap according to Forster,
but Halle Berry (Jinx in 2002's Die
Another Day) - who
he directed in her Oscar winning film "Monster's Ball" -
is a close tie.
Forster admitted he was completely surprised
that he was considered, and won, the role of directing
the film. But
he said the producers knew exactly what they wanted: not
an action director but someone who can deal with actors
and
had his
own visions for the film.
