For many fans of James Bond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service ranks amongst the very best of the Bond movies. With a plot concerning germ warfare and the sinister S.P.E.C.T.R.E organisation, headed by Ernst Stavro Blofeld, this is classic Bond that still seems contemporary.

The sixth film adapted from Ian Fleming’s books stars George Lazenby who stepped into the role vacated by Sean Connery with apparent ease, bringing a more natural nuance to Bond and leaving his own mark on 007. The film has all the classic Bond ingredients as well as boasting the dream cast that includes Telly Savalas as the villainous Blofeld, and, straight from appearing on the hit TV series The Avengers, Diana Rigg as Tracy.

This screening will feature an introduction by George Lazenby, and will be followed by a very special In-Conversation between George Lazenby and FilmInk’s own Travis Johnson.
