007`s Rolex, as worn by George Lazenby in "On Her Majesty`s Secret Service" sold for £22,912 GBP (around $40,000) today at Christie`s annual film and entertainment memorabilia auction in London.

The annual auction, which is always popular with film fans and memorabilia colletors, had some special 007 lots this year.

Three scrapbooks containing a collection of ephemera documenting Peter Hunt`s career, including a paper napkin signed and inscribed in black felt pen Darling Peter, Champers I would ne`er decline, Thou knowest t`will keep me ever thine, Dxx [Diana Rigg] How About dinner next Friday?

Items from the estate of the late Peter Hunt, who sadly died in August this year, brought Bond to Christie`s.

The lots from "On Her Majesty`s Secret Service", which Hunt directed in October 1968 and into 1969, drew Bond collectors from around the world to bid on the unique items such as shooting scripts, clapper boards and albums crammed with thousands of photographs taken during production.
