Sir Sean Connery 'not asked' to attend Oscars ceremony
Responding to red top tabloids claiming the original James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery would be lured out of retirement to make a public appearance with other 007 stars at the 85th Academy Awards next month, this weekend his press agent issued a denial.
Scottish papers cited Connery's press agent as claiming that no one has so far approached him to get involved.
Further dampening the already long odds of this happening are the Oscar ceremony producers themselves, who said this weekend that their planned tribute to the 007 franchise does not include bringing all the actors together on stage.
