Sir Sean Connery has a waterfall in Panama named after him

27-Mar-2004 • Actor News

Sir Sean Connery has been handed the unusual honour of having a waterfall named after him.

The former Bond actor is to be immortalised as Connery Falls on Panama`s River Pina.

The feature was renamed in his honour by the British Explorer Colonel John Blashford Snell, reports the Mail on Sunday.

The 73-year-old star was a patron of the explorer`s recent Central American expedition.

Connery was last in Panama when he attended a special expedition Burns Night supper in January, and visited in November last year to join the celebrations of 100 years of independence.
