`Goldfinger` up for Best Film, along with several cast members from the 007 canon in `Best of British` survey

30-Mar-2004 • Bond News

Channel 4 in the UK are on the search for the "Best Of British" across the film industry, and Bond has several nominations.

In the "Best Film" category, Connery`s classic "Goldfinger" makes the Top 50 nominations list - ready for your vote. But no other Bond movies are included though, but to keep things fair (claim Channel 4), they have restricted the list to only one film per director or `stable`. So, there`s only one Bond - and "Goldfinger" was selected.

Some actors and actresses from the past 20 Bond films make their respective lists too. Amongst the gaggle of British talent are Christopher Lee (Scaramanga, "The Man With The Golden Gun"), John Cleese (Q), Diana Rigg (Tracy Bond, "On Her Majesty`s Secret Service") and Judi Dench (M).
