USA TV - Bond double bill on Spike TV this Sunday, `The Man With The Golden Gun` and `Moonraker`

25-Apr-2004 • Media Alert

Spike TV's Bond double-bill on Sunday continues this week with "The Man With The Golden Gun" and "Moonraker", two films that often feature at the bottom of Bond film rankings.

Film: "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974)
Channel: Spike TV
Date: Sunday 25th April 2004
Time: 1:00-4:00 PM, ET/PT

Christopher Lee makes a fine villain, sporting a golden gun, a third nipple and a tiny henchman called Nick Nack, who is wittily played by Herve Villechaize. Roger Moore gives his usual suave performance as James Bond, but this is far from the best in the series. May be edited for some language and violence.

Directed by: Guy Hamilton
Cast: Roger Moore, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Maud Adams

Moonraker (1979)
Channel: Spike TV
Date: Sunday 25th April 2004
Time: 4:00-7:00 PM, ET/PT

British agent James Bond investigates the disappearance of an Anglo-American space shuttle, which has fallen into the hands of a billionaire megalomaniac intent on world domination. Along the way, Bond has to contend with giant, steel-toothed hit man Jaws, before stowing away on a flight to a space station being used as a colony to breed a genetically `pure` race.

Director: Lewis Gilbert

Starring: Roger Moore, Lois Chiles, Michael Londsdale, Richard Kiel, Corinne Clery, Emily Bolton
