Four times James Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan celebrated his 51st birthday today. The Irish actor was born in Navan, County Meath, 1953.

Since starring as 007 in the blockbuster hit, Die Another Day, Mr Brosnan has been involved with the highly acclaimed James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing computer game, in which he dubbed the voice for his computer generated opposite. He has also starred in this Spring's romantic comedy, Laws of Attraction, which sees the actor donning the role of Daniel Rafferty, a New York City divorce lawyer, who falls helplessly in love with an opposition lawyer amidst a sea of litigation.

His forth coming movies include; After the Sunset (2004), which is currently in post-production, sees Brosnan playing the part of a retired master thief - whose past comes back to haunt him in a thrilling game of cat-and-mouse.

He is currently filming The Matador (2004), also been penciled in for a leading role in Instant Karma (2005) and looks set to return as James in the 21st instalment, due Winter 2005.
