UK grandmothers fancy a bit of Bond

Grandmothers in the UK today are a 'fiercely independent and adventurous' lot and most of them feel at least 20 years younger than their actual age, said a survey.

Most UK grandmothers have not given up the possibility of meeting a James Bond-like character and more than half of the single grandmothers still hope to find love. Their ideal date would be with a drive with Sir Sean Connery followed by a romantic dinner with Sir Roger Moore.

UK grandmothers live life to the full and are familiar with mobile phones and computers. Nearly half the women surveyed had recently been to a theme park and about 15% had gone on one of the latest rollercoasters.
