MI6 Scottish HQ ranked alongside Taj Mahal in `world`s most beautiful sights` list

12-Jul-2004 • Bond News

The MI6 Scottish HQ from the 1999 James Bond film, "The World Is Not Enough", has been ranked alongside the Taj Mahal in a new list identifying the world's most beautiful sights.

In real life, it is better known as Eilean Donan Castle at Dornie near Kyle of Lochalsh - the castle doubled for the remote MI6 HQ in the movie.

As well as James Bond , the "Highlander" movies have also used the famous famous Highland tourist attraction as a film location.

It is the only British entry in the new "Unforgettable Places to See Before You Die" book, and sits beside the Taj Mahal and the Grand Canyon.

Thanks to `Kevin` for the alert.
