Sir Sean Connery turns 74 today
Sir Sean Connery, the original - and argued by most as the best - James Bond, is celebrating his 74th birthday today.
Connery was born on August 25th, 1930 in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland to Joseph and Euphamia Connery.
He starred as agent James Bond 007 in six official Eon Productions films: "Dr. No" (1962), "From Russia With Love" (1963), "Goldfinger" (1964), "Thunderball" (1965), "You Only Live Twice" (1967) an "Diamonds Are Forever" (1971). He later reprised his role in the Kevin McClory remake of "Thunderball" - "Never Say Never Again" - in 1983.
