Classical Bond girls make another 007 movie spoof cameo thanks to DAD director Lee Tamahori
Classical quartet Bond are making waves in the movies, thanks to James Bond director Lee Tamahori, who helmed the 2002 film "Die Another Day".
The Bond girls will be making a cameo in Tamahori's latest project "xXx: State Of The Union", which they shot in Hollywood last month. The film stars Ice Cube in the titular role, and is a sequel to the 2002 Vin Diesel film.
The girls play themselves in the film and perform their hit single "Explosive" at a glamorous party - where secret information is being passed through the waiters.
Cellist Gay-Lee Westerhoff said, "We had met director Lee Tamahori at the James Bond premiere for "Die Another Day". He told us he was using some of our music in his next movie, and invited us to be in it."
Bond made a similar cameo appearence in the 2003 spoof "Johnny English", which was written by "The World Is Not Enough", "Die Another Day" and "Bond 21" scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.
Will the "Bond girls" make the next logical step and appear with 007 himself?
