`From Russia With Love` voted 9th Best British Film

04-Oct-2004 • Bond News

The second James Bond film adventure, "From Russia With Love", came in 9th on a Best British Film poll.

Topping the poll however was 1971's gangster film, "Get Carter", staring Michael Caine. Caine plays a London gangster who is investigating the unusual death of his brother.

In second, "A Matter of Life and Death", starring David Niven as a war-time pilot. "Trainspotting", that stars Ewan McGregor filled third place on the polls. Monty Python's "Life of Brian" was the top Python picture, and made it to fifth place.
