07-Nov-2004 • Actor News

Pierce Brosnan is happy with life now he has given up his job as the world's most famous movie secret agent - James Bond 007.

The actor was initially reluctant to leave the franchise after making four 007 movies, but he is now enjoying his break from the big screen and has found peace at home in his native Ireland - reports ContactMusic.

He says, "I'm at a very good time in my life. I take the kids to school stop off on the way home, buy a newspaper, have a coffee, figure out the day, go to the office, work on a project then pick the kids up, so my life at home is very simple.

"I'm a family man within this crazy, egotistical professional - and it's my sanctuary."
