Pierce Brosnan admits a need for speed

Pierce Brosnan fears his Aston Martin Vanquish sports car is going to get him into trouble because he constantly wants to break the speed limit near his home in Malibu, California - reports Ireland Online.

The former James Bond star was given the grey car as a gift after agreeing to star in a campaign for Aston Martin in conjunction with 'Die Another Day' and he loves taking it out for a spin.

But when he's driving he has to resist the temptation to speed.

He recently had to check himself when he was challenged to a road race by a rich kid in a Ferrari.

Brosnan says: "I said to myself, 'What the f**k am I doing? I'm a 51-year-old man with a wife and children.' I hit the brakes."
