Sir Roger Moore makes a comeback as James Bond 007, for the London Olympic bid
Sir Roger Moore is making a come back as James Bond 007, but not in any official capacity.
The 77-year old actor will appear in a special short film, spoofing his 007 role, to help London bid to host the 2012 Olympics.
He will be joined by Samantha Bond, who played Miss Moneypenny during Pierce Brosnan's four films as 007.
The pair reprise their famous roles briefly for a scene outside the MI6 building on the River Thames.
Moore and Bond join a host of London-born celebrities, including Dame Helen Mirren, Jeremy Irons, Martine Mc Cutcheon and David Beckham, in the video, which aims to convince the International Olympic Committee, choose the British capital for the 2012 games.
Also in the film, sent to the International Olympic Committee on Monday, David Beckham is seen struggling to solve a crossword as a would-be running champion jogs past London's historical sites.
