Women find James Bond`s Aston Martin sexiest car ever

A new survey conducted by Tesco Motor Insurance (UK) has found that four in five females believe a powerful motor can make up for a man's possible other deficiencies.

Asked to name the sexiest car, women voted for James Bond's Aston Martin which first starred in 1964's "Goldfinger" , followed by prestige brands Porsche, Lotus, Mercedes and BMW.

The least sexy car was Citroen 2CV - which James Bond has also driven! The little yellow car featured in 1981's "For Your Eyes Only". It was followed by Robin Reliant, the favourite of Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses.

The survey revealed that 87 percent women think they are better at changing gear than men while 84 percent believe men are more likely to jump a red light. 92 percent of them believe that they are more courteous drivers than men and 88 percent do not feel safe with a man driving.

"Our statistics are really interesting and clearly show that women certainly like big cars, but if men really want to impress the ladies they need to combine a stylish car with a sensible attitude behind the wheel," Allan Burns of Tesco Motor Insurance was quoted as saying.
