62-year old granny wins Aston Martin car

21-Dec-2004 • Bond News

Granny Margaret Cameron went to Glasgow Airport to collect her son ... and ended up winning an £82,000 car, reports the Evening Times (UK).

The 62-year-old from Paisley scooped an Aston Martin DB7 after entering a Best of the Best prize draw at the airport.

The Aston Martin, favoured by James Bond , was on display at the airport when Mrs Cameron went to collect her son and his girlfriend.

She decided to treat herself and paid £55 to enter the draw - and was stunned when her winning ticket was drawn.

She said: " I couldn't believe it - I jumped in the air four times!"
