Michelle Yeoh on the Jean Todt rumours - `not important whether they got married`

28-Dec-2004 • Actor News

Hong Kong-based action star and former Bond girl Michelle Yeoh has taken her boyfriend, Ferrari motor racing team boss Jean Todt, to meet her parents for the first time in her hometown in Malaysia - reports News Interactive. (Australia).

Yeoh, a former Miss Malaysia, shot to international stardom when she co-starred with Pierce Brosnan in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies as a tough and beautiful Chinese spy.

Wearing a flashy diamond ring given to her as a Christmas gift by her boyfriend, Yeoh turned up holding hands with Todt at an opening ceremony of a new temple in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.

She disclosed that Todt got on well with her family, said the Apple Daily.

Yeoh told the newspaper that she was very happy with the relationship and it was not important whether they got married, following rumours that the pair were engaged earlier in the year

She added that the most important thing was for them to be healthy and that they felt happy together.

Yeoh is due to go back to the US soon for the filming of Memoirs of a Geisha based on the best-selling novel by Arthur Golden.
