Honor `Pussy Galore` Blackman joins M&S advertising campaign

40 years have passed since Honor Blackman first set pulses racing in the James Bond movie Goldfinger, but the original blonde bombshell is proving she still has the Midas touch by heading up a new advertising campaign for Marks & Spencer - reports Hello Magazine.

The publicity drive comes just a few months after she joined the cast of Coronation Street in the role of sultry seductress Rula Romanoff. But the veteran performer is better known as femme fatale Pussy Galore, who left the normally unflappable 007 feeling distinctly hot under the collar.

It should come as no surprise, then, that M&S is confident she can bring a little extra glamour to its Classic Collection. The high street giant, which has suffered lacklustre sales in recent years, has decided to target more mature customers rather than trying to compete in the under-30s market.

Buyers at the firm believe Honor will help it come back from its recent slump. And there can be little doubt the sprightly 77-year-old, who was recently named as one of the 100 sexiest film stars of all time, is the very epitome of a glamorous gran.
