`Bond, James Bond` ranked amongst worst pick-up lines

02-Feb-2005 • Bond News

Eight at Eight, the Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach premier dinner club for single professionals, today announced its selection for the top eight worst pick-up lines ever used:

(1) What's your sign?
(2) Where have you been all my life?
(3) What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?
(4) Do you come here often?
(5) Bond. James Bond.
(6) Are you a parking ticket, `cause you've got "FINE" written all over you?
(7) If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put "U" and "I" together.
(8) Are you OK? Because heaven's a long fall from here.

"Yes, cheesy pick-up lines are still being used. And no, singles do not have to put up with it." said Toni Glerum, president and membership director for Eight at Eight.

Thanks to `JP` for the alert.
