P Diddy is `just getting ready for this black James Bond thing`

P Diddy has "fuelled speculation about the possibility of the next James Bond being played by a black actor" according to BBC Radio 1 (UK).

There has alreadybeen talk of Colin Salmon or Adrian Lester taking the role thanks to tabloid rumours.

Speaking at the Oscars, a giddy Diddy said he reckoned an even bigger black star could be 007:

"I always wanted to come to the Academy Awards as a kid just watching it at home. So this is like a dream come true to be around all of my heroes."

"Jamie Foxx, you know, this is a Jamie Foxx night. I'm here for him to be honest. I'm here to witness some black history. The revolution is being televised."

"It's a great night for fashion and it's a great night for acting."

"We need a black James Bond and I've got a new deal that I'm gonna announce and we're just getting ready for this black James Bond thing."
