UK TV audience for 007 declines with `Tomorrow Never Dies`

14-Mar-2005 • Bond News

The latest film to be shown as part of ITV1's "Ultimate Bond" season, "Tomorrow Never Dies", suffered a ratings slump.

The 1997 James Bond film in ITV1 on Friday night was up against charity fundraiser telethon "Red Nose Day" on BBC1, which pulled in 13.3 million viewers.

"Tomorrow Never Dies" only managed 4.12 million viewers, an audience share of 16.9%

The previous two Bond films to be shown on the channel, "Die Another Day" and "The World is not Enough", were watched by 6.3 million and 5.72 million viewers respectively.
