4 million UK viewers tune in to `A View To A Kill`

10-Apr-2005 • Bond News

ITV1's screening of 1985's "A View To A Kill" on Friday 8th April 2005 pulled in an average of 4.04 million television viewers in the UK, an 18.64% audience share.

The movie started half an hour later than usual at 9:00pm due to a specially extended episode of "Coronation Street", and the film suffered the lowest ratings of any James Bond movie so far broadcast by ITV in 2005.

The "Ultimate Bond Season", which plays the 007 movie in reverse order every Friday night, continues this week with 1983's "unofficial" Sony production "Never Say Never Again" starring Sean Connery - back at the regular time slot of 8:30pm.

Previous weeks (audience share in brackets):
"Th Living Daylights" - 4.20 million (18.97%)
"Licence To Kill" - 4.20 million (18.92%)
"GoldenEye" - 4.73 million (22.1%)
"Tomorrow Never Dies" - 4.12 million (16.9%)
"The World Is Not Enough" - 5.72 million (25.4%)
"Die Another Day" - 6.3 million (29.1%)
