Sir Sean Connery not silenced in election campaign
The SNP have said famous supporter Sir Sean Connery will not be silenced during the election campaign.
Deputy leader Nicola Sturgeon spoke out as she unveiled the Nats' election broadcast, featuring a voiceover by the James Bond star - reports the
Daily Record.
The film, to be shown tonight, follows a row over the SNP contacting voters with pre-recorded phone messages from Sir Sean.
The Lib Dems claimed the tactic was illegal, though SNP bosses have vowed to keep using the calls.
Sturgeon said: "Our opponents have made an attempt to silence Sir Sean. 'As this film shows, they are not being successful".
