Denise Richards gives birth to a second daughter, Lola

03-Jun-2005 • Actor News

Former James Bond girl Denise Richards has given birth to a daughter, People magazine reports.

Richards, who filed for divorce from Charlie Sheen in March, gave birth to the couple’s second daughter, Lola, last night at a Los Angeles hospital, her publicist confirmed to the magazine. The baby weighed 6lbs 10oz.

Sheen was present when Richards gave birth, and mother and daughter are doing fine, the magazine said today.

The couple also have a 15-month-old daughter, Sam.

Richards, 34, married Sheen in June 2002. They met while shooting the independent film Good Advice in 2000, and appeared in 2003’s Scary Movie 3. She became a Bond girl a year earlier, playing Dr Christmas Jones in the 1999 007 film "The World Is Not Enough".

In divorce papers filed March 2, Richards cited irreconcilable differences. It was her first marriage and Sheen’s second. They began dating after Richards guest-starred on Sheen’s former series, Spin City.
