Denise Richards not worried about being a single parent

Former James Bond girl Denise Richards is refusing to worry about life as a single mother as she prepares to raise her two young daughters without husband Charlie Sheen.

Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March this year, but he was by her side when she delivered their baby girl Lola Rose on June 1, reports Hollywood.com.

As Denise, who has another one-year-old, prepares for raising two young children by herself, she was quoted as telling People magazine: "I am not worried about being a single parent. I just want to be a good one."



Richards' mother Joni says of her daughter: "Denise is a great mother, and a very strong woman."

Since filing for divorce, Richards, 34, has been locked in a battle with Sheen, 39, over their children. She wants full custody and spousal support but Sheen wants joint custody without spousal support.
