Pierce Brosnan`s son Christopher arrested on drugs charge

Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has seen his son Christopher allegedly arrested in suspicion of possessing the drug heroin - reports Contact Music.

The 32-year-old was searched and arrested last Wednesday in London after police spotted him leaving the house of a suspect drug supplier.

Christopher - who has worked as an assistant producer on several Bond movies - has battled with drink and drug addictions for years and nearly died in 2002 after overdosing on Gamma Hydroxybutyrate (GHB).

A police spokeswoman confirms, "A 32-year-old man was arrested in Brixton Road on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug, believed to be heroin.

"He was taken to a police station and bailed to return in August."

The news will bring fresh worries for 52-year-old actor Brosnan who adopted Christopher when he married his first wife Cassandra Harris.
