`Live And Let Die` suffers poorest UK TV ratings for a Bond film this year

ITV`s screening of the 1973 James Bond film "Live And Let Die" last Friday (15th July 2005) suffered poor ratings.

Roger Moore's debut outing attracted the least number of viewers of the Ultimate Bond Season so far (of rated films) but did not attract the smallest audience share. The hot summer weather brought the total number of viewers down according to industry watchers.

"Live And Let Die" was watched by an average of 3.78 million viewers, a 19.6% audience share.

"Tomorrow Never Dies" - 4.12 million (16.9%)
"The World Is Not Enough" - 5.72 million (25.4%)
"Die Another Day" - 6.3 million (29.1%)
