Pierce Brosnan in negotiations for Remington Steele film
Pierce Brosnan is in talks for a film based on the television series that lost him the James Bond role in 1987 - Remington Steele. But Brosnan eventually got his Bond role in 1995 for "GoldenEye", and now four-times 007 is now discussing bringing his first major role to the big screen after leaving Her Majesty's Secret Service.
According to
Contact Music, Brosnan has started negotiations to make a movie adaptation of his hit 80s TV show.
Brosnan shot to fame in the American series in the 1980's, and believes the big-screen remake will become a huge box office hit.
Brosnan reveals, "The show is out on DVD so we have started negotiations to make a film. There's a sentimental memory and fondness for it."
