Pierce Brosnan talks about `never say never` 007 comeback

01-Jan-2006 • Bond News

Pierce Brosnan spoke to iFilm during his "The Matador" press junket about the possibility of ever returning to the James Bond role.

In a couple of films down the road, would you ever consider, hypothetically, going back and being 007 again?

"Well, if such a scenario arose - which is not going to happen - of course!"

"You'd have to assess where you are in your career, whether you were making money, if you had employment! I don't know, there are so many variables in this precious game that we play."

"But, no, Daniel Craig is going to do a fantastic job. He's a wonderful actor, he knows how to put it together and will do it well. Martin Campbell directed me in GoldenEye, and he's directing this next one. So, you wish him well. I want him to be successful."
