Aston Martin DB5 up for British design award - vote now

The Great British Design Quest is a vote to discover the public's favourite British design icon. Organised by the Design Museum and The Culture Show (BBC), the vote opens with a shortlist of 25 and is narrowed down to a Top 10, Top 3 and a final winner.

James Bond's classic Aston Martin DB5 is one of the 25 contenders in the vote.

Verity Sharp, presenter of The Culture Show said, "For me the beauty of great design is that it's often wonderfully practical as well as being aesthetically pleasing. The designer's knack of creating things that give a strong sense of personal ownership, while also being things we want to share with everyone, is to be applauded. Our Great British Design Quest is the perfect way to do just that."
