Elton John joins the Madonna DAD theme song bashing

Dot Music and Sky News have reported that Elton John has joined David Arnold and - allegedly - Prince Philip in publically announced their distate for Madonna`s "Die Another Day" theme song:

Elton John has blasted Madonna`s latest single, describing it as "the worst Bond tune ever".

The song reached number three in the UK chart earlier this month, but not all Bond fans are happy with Madonna`s offering.

"It hasn`t got a tune," Elton told Sky News. "James Bond themes are usually very camp and this one`s different.

"They should have gone for somebody like Lulu and Shirley Bassey, or maybe I`m in that league?"

He added: "I don`t think it`s the best Madonna record and I`m a big fan".
