Timothy Dalton, the fourth James Bond, celebrates his 60th birthday today
Timothy Dalton, who took over from Roger Moore to become the fourth James Bond, is celebrating his 60th birthday today.
His stint as 007 was somewhat short lived, only appearing twice ("The Living Daylights", "Licence To Kill") before
protracted legal issues and other problems paralysed the Bond franchise in the early 90s. Dalton publicly stepped down on 12th April 1994 to make way for Pierce Brosnan.
Recently, Dalton has appeared on the London stage in "His Dark Materials", and on the big screen with "Looney Tunes: Back In Action". He can be next seen in the last ever Miss Marple murder mystery on ITV1 this summer.
Dalton was born on March 21st 1946 in Colwyn Bay, North Wales.
