Samantha Bond (Miss Moneypenny) and Dame Judi Dench (M) up for acting awards

Samantha Bond, best known for her role as Miss Moneypenny in the Pierce Brosnan Bond films, is up for an acting award.

The "Theatregoers` Choice Awards" have her shortlisted in the "Best Actress" category for her performance in Macbeth at the Albery.

Also nominated is her "MI6 boss", Dame Judi Dench ("M") and Maggie Smith - who is the mother of the 007`s latest villain (Toby Stephens) - for their performances in The Breath of Life at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

The nomination list also includes: Clare Higgins, Gillian Anderson, Gwyneth Paltrow and Helen McCrory.
