Colin Salmon scores TV role after losing Bond part

06-Apr-2006 • Actor News

Bond regular Colin Salmon, who played MI6 aide Charles Robinson in the last three Pierce Brosnan 007 films has signed up to join series eight of ITV's hit prison drama Bad Girls.

He will not be appearing in the forthcoming James Bond film "Casino Royale" starring Daniel Craig in the title role.

Colin Salmon will take on the part of Larkhall's new G-wing doctor Rowan Dunlop in the TV series - reports Digital Spy.

The mysterious character has "another agenda than purely to look after the welfare of the girls".

Series eight of Bad Girls is currently in production and will air this summer in 10 installments on ITV1 in the UK.
