Daniel Craig refuses tennis speech according to press

29-Jun-2006 • Actor News

MEDIA RUMOUR
James Bond would never have behaved in so undignified a manner - reports The Telegraph.

When Daniel Craig took time out from filming the forthcoming 007 flick, Casino Royale, in order to watch a spot of tennis at Queen's last week, his deportment left officials both shaken and stirred.

"Daniel turned up with a group of ticketless friends, asking that they be allowed to join him," I'm told.

When, in return, Craig was asked to make a two-minute introductory speech to one of the matches, he refused point-blank.

"It wasn't so much a case of a charm offensive as just plain offensive," adds the source.

Thanks to `Paul` for the alert.
