Daniel Craig to voice character in new animated film with former Bond villain

11-Jul-2006 • Actor News

New James Bond Daniel Craig will team up with former 007 villain Jonathan Pryce in a stylish new animated movie, set in 2054 in Paris, France.

Craig will play missing persons cop Barthelemy Karas, who must delve into the Paris underworld to track down a kidnapped scientist, voiced by Romala Garai in film noir cartoon "Renaissance".

Pryce starred as villain Elliot Carver in the 1997 Brosnan-Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies".

The black and white film, which also stars fellow Brits Catherine McCormack and Ian Holm, uses the latest live action motion capture and is animated in 3D. Based on a story by French animators Marrhieu Delaporte and Alexandre Patelliere, the film will premiere around the upcoming ComicCon convention in San Diego, California (20th to 23rd July).
