Bond composer John Barry receives Most Inspirational Man award from GQ

James Bond composer John Barry received a "Most Inspirational Man" award from GQ Magazine at last night's annual event.

Actor Terrence Stamp presented Barry with the award on stage.

The annual GQ Awards ceremony was held London's Royal Opera House on Tuesday 5th September.



John Barry OBE, born on November 3, 1933 in York, England, is a renowned British film composer famous for his 007 scores.

After performing uncredited work on Dr. No (1962), Barry composed scores for From Russia with Love (1963), Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967), On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), Moonraker (1979), Octopussy (1983), A View to a Kill (1985), and The Living Daylights (1987).
