Former Miss Moneypenny actress Samantha Bond spearheads bowel cancer campaign

Former Miss Moneypenny actress Samantha Bond is spearheading a campaign to help Brits spot the signs of bowel cancer.

The 45-year-old, who played Miss Moneypenny in Pierce Brosnan's four 007 films, lost her mother to the disease and is encouraging people to dress in spots on Friday 3rd November 2006 to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer.

She says, "My mum didn't know what she was looking for. If we can make people aware of what the symptoms are… we can help."
