Roger Spottiswoode (TND) has a new directing job at CBS

16-Jan-2003 • Bond News

"Tomorrow Never Dies" director Roger Spottiswoode has a new directing job for CBS. He will helm "Ice Bound" - a TV project which will star Susan Sarandon as real-life doctor Jerri Nielsen, who battled breast cancer while stranded on the South Pole.

Scheduled to go into production next month in Canada, the project is based on Nielsen`s bestseller "Ice Bound: A Doctor`s Incredible Battle for Survival at the South Pole."

Spottiswoode`s directing career was plunged into the world of television after "Tomorrow Never Dies" received criticism, and his Arnie movie "The 6th Day" failed to impress.
