`Underneath The Mango Tree` singer and actress Diana Coupland dies

11-Nov-2006 • Actor News

English actress Diana Coupland has died after suffering heart problems. She was 74.

Coupland dubbed Ursula Andress' singing voice in 1962 James Bond movie "Dr No".

The London-born comedienne passed away at Coventry's University Hospital, after failing to recover from heart surgery - reports PR Inside

Her surgeon says, "The operation was a success but because of Diana's longstanding illness, her condition continued to deteriorate." During her long career, Coupland starred in a string of TV shows, including "Bless This House", "Eastenders", "Casualty", and "Z Cards".

Thanks to `LeChiffre` for the alert.
