Eva Green attends Heineken launch party - exclusive picture

22-Nov-2006 • Actor News

As part of its global promotional campaign, Heineken's presence was marked at three premiere events of the newest James Bond film, Casino Royale throughout last week.

Together with 4000 other VIP guests - including Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth - Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken and Michel de Carvalho attended the movie's Royal Global Premiere in London's Leicester Square on Tuesday 14 November 2006.

On Wednesday 15 November 2006, Group Commerce and Heineken Nederland hosted a special pre-Premiere event of Casino Royale at the historic Tuschinski cinema in Amsterdam, where 450 invited guests (including employees from Corporate Office and Heineken Nederland) watched the new Bond film exclusively, one day before the official Premiere in the Netherlands and eight days before its official consumer launch in Holland. Special guest at Heineken's corporate screening was Eva Green, who plays Vesper Lynd in the film and who introduced the movie.

Peter van Campen, director Group Commerce, welcomed Heineken employees and business partners in Wednesday's speech at the corporate screening, saying that with its truly premium international stature, only the Heineken brand is able to activate a James Bond film like Casino Royale (which will have a global audience of 500 million people) in as many as 55 markets across five continents.

Last Thursday night, the Dutch premiere of Casino Royale took place in the Tuschinski cinema, where Heineken branding was displayed in the same way as the Pre-screening on Wednesday, including DraughtKegs on the bar and
Heineken Extra Cold available on tap. Heineken's CFO René Hooft Graafland also attended last night's event.

The Heineken brand is also featured in Casino Royale, but more important than a few seconds of on-screen exposure is the off-screen connection to the World of Bond through promotions running in 55 Heineken markets.

Heineken's partnership with Casino Royale will continue at premiere events in Madrid, New York, Moscow, Johannesburg and Sydney.
