007 inspired Hilton hotel in the Bahamas to undergo facelift
Hilton Hotels Corp. is pouring more than $85 million into renovations and expansions at five of its nine Caribbean Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties. The hotels will remain open and fully operational during the work and guests will not be impacted by the renovations, according to property managers.
The properties include the British Colonial Hilton Nassau in the Bahamas will renovate 21 suites and 35 executive floor rooms with new "Suite Dream" beds, linens, flat screen TVs, blackout curtains, work areas and new color schemes - reports

The 00-suite, inspired by the hotel's connection to the 007 craze -- both "Thunderball" and "Never Say Never Again" were filmed at the property -- will be outfitted with new furniture and amenities befitting James Bond himself, such as a martini bar and personalized stationary.
The redo is slated for completion in summer 2007.
