Malaysian `Bond girl search` finds their winner

Will we see another Malaysian putting 007 in his place? We might and her name may just be Nikki Soraya - reports The Malay Mail.

“It would be great to be the next Malaysian Bond Girl after Datuk Michelle Yeoh,” said Nikki.

Last year, to coincide with the release of Casino Royale, the 20th Bond movie, Nikki was selected as the 007 Malaysian Bond Girl after a nationwide search.

Since then, she has been busy with media work, culminating in the completion of her first major cover shoot for one of Malaysia’s biggest lifestyle magazines, Expatriate Lifestyle.

In that issue, she showcases high-end jewellery for Valentine’s Day.

“I’m self-conscious when it comes to photographs but this time it was great,” she says of the shoot.

“Tom (Hayton, the photographer) was professional and made things comfortable.”

Nikki, who wowed the judges at the Bond Girl Search with a semi-dance, semi-combat performance of Madonna’s Die Another Day, admits it was a “tough competition”.

But clearly, she’s one girl who knows how to make an impression.

When she’s not studying or helping her father at his shop in 1 Utama, she sings, plays the guitar and writes her own music.

However, she has other ambitions.

“I want to get my degree (probably in public relations) and get a great job.”

Smart, Intellectual yet sexy at the same time, Independent and tough to set good example to you female viewers.

Why should you be the next Bond Girl?
I believe I;m fairly intelligent, with sufficient confidence to caryy the part. Despite hardships in life, I want to show the world that I am strong and independent as that is what a Bond Girl should be.
