Sir Sean Connery arrives in Delhi, India

There are just seven superstars in the world today and Sean Connery is one of them'. When Steven Spielberg said these words, India must be listening intently. So, when the original James Bond came calling in to Delhi on Saturday morning, and made a fleeting appearance at a five-star hotel's lobby where he is staying put, such was the crowd's reaction that he had to beat it immediately - reports Times of India.

But ask Sean and his wife, artist Micheline Roquebrune, and they say that they absolutely love the Indian experience and are "very happy" to be here. He terms this a "business visit", just the reason why it is being kept so hush-hush.

Despite all embargos, Sean and Micheline were accorded a traditional welcome at the Hotel Imperial with garlands and tilak. From then, it was time for a quick breakfast with a lot of fresh juices. After that, they slept the day away. It was only in the evening when Sean came to the lobby of the hotel for some work and his fans present there recognized him that he had to return to his room immediately.

On Sunday, they travelled outside Delhi and would be returning by Tuesday.
