Early in the show, Craig stood with a stiff face and arms crossed as he watched the opening monologue on a monitor and waited to present the Oscar for art direction with Nicole Kidman. Craig finally cracked a grin when DeGeneres joked onstage that Americans were the most qualified to fill seats at the Kodak Theatre.
On stage, Craig and co-presenter Nicole Kidman announced the Art Direction Oscar to Pan's Labyrinth.
Craig and girlfired Satsuki Micthell then headed to the exclusive Vanity Fair afterparty. According to
SFGate, Craig was on his way out of the party when the photogs spotted him and started screaming. He shook his head and walked right by them, refusing to pose.
