Bond girl Rosamund Pike suffers stage shocker

05-Apr-2007 • Actor News

Former James Bond girl Rosamund Pike was horrified to witness an audience member suffering a heart attack during her latest London play.

The 28 year-old actress famous for her role as Miranda Frost in 2002's "Die Another Day", was performing in the West End production of Tennessee William's "Summer And Smoke", when the emergency services arrived.

She says, "I usually never really think about the people in the audience, but we had somebody have a heart attack during a matinee, which was quite scary. "Suddenly you don't know what to do. You are trying to carry on but someone in the audience shouted, 'Stop the play!' and an ambulance was called."
