Pierce Brosnan records TV commercial for Live Earth

A list of celebrities including former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan are starring in television adverts for the Live Earth concerts.

Others signed up, such as Ben Affleck, Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Tobey Maguire and Anna Friel, will promote the campaigning gigs and also deliver eco-friendly messages - reports DigitalSpy.

In the commercials, available to use by broadcasters worldwide ahead of the July 7 shows, Affleck says people should reduce waste while Ferrell boosts long-life lightbulbs.

Others taking part, for free, are Jennifer Garner, Josh Lucas, Penelope Cruz, Jessica Biel, Emily Blunt, Chris Rock, Holly Hunter, Naomi Campbell and Jason Biggs.
