British soap drafts in Die Another Day stunt experts - on UK television next week

British television soap "Coronation Street" has drafted in some of the expert stunt team who worked on "Die Another Day" to perform a key sequence of the story line that recently pulled in 20 million viewers (one-third of the nation`s population).

The story revolves around killer Richard Hillman deliberately driving wife Gail and her children into a canal. The murderer ties up and gags the family in a people carrier before plunging them into the freezing water in a cliffhanging episode.

The pictures below show the stunt which called for the very best in the industry - the Bond team.





"Corrie" fans will be left wondering if Gail, her son David, daughter Sarah Louise and Sarah’s baby Bethany escape or drown.

The episode will be shown on ITV1 on 10th March 2003 at 7:30pm.
